RPS – Max Lite
MAX series clutch with a billet aluminum casting with a carbon friction surface to rub against the carbon friction on the aluminum clutch disc. Up to 6 lbs lighter than the stock unit.
RPS's MAX-Lite Series clutch is the same as our regular MAX Series only much lighter. We replace the standard cast iron clutch plate with an aluminum piece using our patented segmented carbon friction facing. This clutch is on average 6 pounds lighter than a standard clutch which makes it great for Drifting, Time Attack, Road Racing and Drag Racing. Combine this light weight pressure plate with RPS's exclusive super-Lite carbon disc with either a street facing or a ceramic facing on the flywheel side for smooth driveability and high RPM shifts. The pedal pressure increase is listed next to each application. The engagement is ultra smooth with the Street disc and smooth to slightly grabby with the 6-puck disc. RPS uses their patented single diaphragm technology as well as their unique dual diaphragm techniques where needed.
