This is the ultimate single, twin and triple disc carbon-carbon clutch system on the market today. Carbon, stainless steel, billet aluminum, hard anodize, optional titanium, need we say more?? All the benefits of our standard Turboclutch Carbon with even higher levels of technology for the ultimate high performance street and track use.
8.5inch, 9.5inch, and 10.5inch units allow us to make a clutch system for any application from Integra to BMW to Ferrari and even Viper. In fact RPS has the technology and assembly procedures in place to make any carbon clutch for any application.
RPS – Billet Single Carbon
Outstanding single disc billet carbon clutch with aluminum "strapless" cover for high RPM medium upgrades like heads and cam. This kit includes a custom billet aluminum flywheel.
RPS's Billet Single is the ultimate single disc carbon clutch. This clutch uses our unique "Strapless" design where we machine a new billet aluminum cover and then replace the standard cast iron clutch plate with an aluminum piece using our patented segmented carbon friction facing. This clutch is on average 6 pounds lighter than a standard clutch which makes it great for Drifting, Time Attack, Road Racing and Drag Racing. Our "Strapless" design replaces the traditional three strap system used to locate the casting in the cover. These straps have been a weak link with many clutches and our new system makes for not only a much lighter clutch, but also a stronger one. Combine this light weight pressure plate with either a Street or 6-puck ceramic disc for smooth driveability and high RPM shifts. The pedal pressure increase is listed next to each application. The engagement is ultra smooth with the Street disc and smooth to slightly grabby with the 6-puck disc. RPS uses their patented single diaphragm technology as well as their unique dual diaphragm techniques where needed.
