2005-07 Mustang Driveshafts have dramatic problems that our new shafts correct
One of the weakest links between a vehicle and its wheels is the driveshaft. Stock driveshafts can easily manage a few hundred horsepower, but limit the potential of more potent performers.
Vibration: Featuring a plunge joint design which allows our driveshafts to compress under load. It is this compression that prevents shaft bowing and solves that pesky harmonics problem often associated with solid driveshafts for the 05+ Mustangs.
Clearance: These driveshafts have none of the clearance issues associated with larger driveshafts. Our aluminum units have just a 3.5" diameter and the steel units are at a mere 3" diameter.
Strength: Not only do we utilize the best aluminum and steel, we also feature superior joint design and forged yolks. This provides great resistance to high horsepower forces instead of breaking under stress.
Weight: Our driveshafts on average are 60% lighter than stock. The result is less rotating mass, which means less wasted horsepower in the drivetrain.
